The Path of Enlightenment A through-composed Novel by Christopher Moors 4. Not afraid in the slightest, Sniffer and Sam bounded toward the approaching entity. As the figure became clearer a huge smile broke out on Zoshu’s face. It was one of his favorite people in the Universe; Kam, his sister from his current life who unexpectedly crossed the threshold a mere 6 months before. Tears streamed from both of them as they gazed into each other’s eyes. A mixture of burning pain and ecstatic joy emanated from their hearts. “It’s crazy over here!” Kam exclaimed. “I only have a short time as I am still tending to some unfinished business.”“Have you seen either of our grandfathers?” Zoshu queried with interest. “Of course,” Kam said without hesitation. “Wilhelm was there to greet me when I passed. It was not an easy transition because I did not expect to die and I did not want to leave our family.” Zoshu sobbed a bit more and softly said, “We did not want to lose you either. We love you very much.” Kam said, “I know. I receive all of your heart vibrations. The hardest thing is when you’re hurting. It draws me near but you can’t see me. Please remember our happy times and that I’ll always love you.” They continued walking together with the dogs faithfully by their side. “I hear you’re on an epic journey,” Kam said after a few moments of silent communion. “So it seems,” Zoshu replied. “We’ll see what happens. I’m not sure where the road is leading.” “Like you always told me Zoshu,” Kam said with reassurance. “Live moment to moment and the rest will take care of itself.” “I miss having you near my dear,” Zoshu said. “I am always with you and that will never change,” Kam told him as she began slowly fading from his location. “Like I said, remember the happy times…oh yeah…keep an eye out for a demon named McGumb. He has the power of guilt and is a formidable foe. I love…..” and she was gone. All was incredibly quiet now, and Zoshu felt more alone than before. The dogs were running on ahead and he was reflecting on what had just occurred. “No time for looking back,” Zoshu heard thoughts telepathically projected into his mind. It was Elvington! “Stay alert and keep moving. This is only the beginning.” Zoshu began jogging to keep awake and then remembered gravity isn’t the same on the astral plane as it is on Earth. With no physical body to weigh him down, he began making giant moon leaps. Each jump got bigger until he was flying with arms stretched out ahead of him. Lost in the soaring sensation, he didn’t even realize that the scenery changed until he was coming down in what looked to be a quite populated area. For some reason the city made him think of Toronto even though he had never been there. He landed at the front door of an astral super mall. Here you could encounter just about any soul from the past, present, or future. You might meet a celebrity, a friend, or a ruthless dictator. You could catch a glimpse of someone you never thought you’d see again. Aura resonance tends to bring people together in such places when the occasion calls for it. If on Earth you can’t be is someone you love, you might find them here just passing through. It is also an excellent place to find a clue when you don’t know what next to do.
