OUTSIDE OF INFLUENCE

Life truly outside the parameters of influence is not what many might think. Beware the coloring of the holier than thou. Some, awakening to the heart, might become so enamored with it that they believe they have arrived at the ultimate destination. Though beautiful and a much freer, more joyous way to live than trapped in the mind, it too is something to assimilate and pass through. The word LOVE can become something that grips your mind and in a strange way strangles you with expectations towards self and others that can’t possibly be lived up too. And these are not the Universe’s expectations but a kind of HYPER-MORALITY that justifies itself again and again. Policing everyone and everything to make sure they are being what we perceive to be the true religion, the naivety of our position just about matches the certainty of our conviction. There-in lays the trap of these ULTRA-CHRISTIAN waves of distortion.

The kind of reversal that occurs in the mind is clearly shown in how many times an expression of real emotion is considered a judgment, when the judgment that it is a judgment is in fact the judgment: “Excuse me sir I believe you are judging someone else with your expression; nope sorry I didn’t notice that I had to make a judgment to judge you. Did I realize that if I did this to someone who wasn’t ever watchful I might spread doubt which leads to the stifling of the heart song? No I hadn’t thought of that because I was so sure of my own way.” Too much of anything becomes an imprisonment. Imagine if you could only listen to Mozart. He is an amazing and brilliant composer revealing true heavenly melodies. At first it would be enjoyable, then tolerable. Eventually after you had heard every tune many times it would become annoying, then torture! You can drive people away with a relentless externalization of ‘Love’ every bit as much as a relentless externalization of ‘Hate’.

Balance allows us to flow effortlessly through all the realms of human experience. We can Love mightily, then reside in Intelligence for awhile. We can express our Feelings, and then float in the emptiness of Space. Restrictions no matter what the flavor are unnecessary and superimposed. Don’t let simple words become ingrained in our minds, thereby shaping the next moment. Sometimes the thing you’d least like to hear is exactly the right touch. If it triggers a reaction, thank the one who made it possible to be free of your bondage. Never too caught up in the details, the sanguine soul is in harmony and may well drop some gifts along the way. If they are to be truly helpful to you, they will not fit in your preconceived parameters. When you are completely liberated, you will see why and thank that crazy fool for getting your attention.
