Celibacy is Insanity

I can understand the creeping movement in the internet underground that seeks to keep the primal urges under wraps. Funny when it gets to the point where not having sex is the rebellion! This particular idea is flawed at best and destructively misleading at worst.

To those familiar with the power of animal instinct, having stood toe to toe with the devil has shown that simply looking away does not subdue the beast. Haven’t those horny priests showed us irrevocably that the immature fighting the rod doesn’t work? This is dangerous territory that is much more complex that anything one person can decide.

Unless you are a high level yogi who has devoted lifetimes to refining your spiritual energy, there is only one way to learn about sex. Have it! Are some of the points illustrated by others in their defense of celibacy valid? Yes, but they give an incomplete perspective. Is it best to find one woman (or man) to share your life with? For most, this will provide the richest level of fulfillment, but only after they have learned the art of love through self-exploration and deep penetration.

People seem to be impressed with grown men who have never had sex telling others to do the same. Doesn’t seem like advice I’d follow. Always look at the source and know that if you listen, you will follow a similar path. We have to be much more reasonable about this if we want a real solution.

Awareness is the missing aspect which will right all discrepancies regarding sexual confusion. Being a transforming human isn’t always meant to be a cosmic picnic. Some growing pains are extremely difficult, but in the end the doors they open are at once transcendent and wondrous.

The first step is knowledge. Find out everything you can about sexual interactivity. From porn to gurus, I guarantee that if you sweep the spectrum of information, you will see that what you think you know, you never knew. Falling back to a moralistic stance is merely a limiting substitute for cultivated virtue.

Eventually, through experience, you will see what works for you and what is respectful for your partner. Out-of-control desire will be replaced with conscious reverence and a sense of worshipfulness to the divine gateway. Tanta is particularly helpful in sorting out what is healthy and what is perverted.

There is no hiding from the reality of our natural urge to procreate. True, in man, it turns into predatory instinct at times. Just watch how the pack reacts the next time you see a drunken girl stumbling through a party. That is the animal, and something we should face directly, because nurturing this with intelligence, we rise higher. Just pay attention to what is happening. We can never control what we don’t understand.

You will not find the right partner without some experimentation. Trial and error is the pathway to what is real. Flood the sexually active with contraceptives, and then no sinful children will be running around. This is the first step in addressing the abortion conundrum: education and birth control.

Do not be afraid of who we are as humans. You cannot accept yourself if you have rejected the fundamental. What happens when you hold back the urges? They will take over eventually. Then what? Guilt, remorse, judgment, or worse, you could end up a criminal. Say yes not just to what you deem worthy from limited mind-self EGO, but to the totality of your being. Then there will be no need for a part of you to take revenge.

Certainly the sexual permeated culture causes complete chaos inside the young and old alike. The only answer is ‘through’ not ‘back’. Uniting the man and woman within through the man or woman without will eventually lead to the cessation of the searing emotional pain. The hotness of body passion becomes the wholeness of soul love.
Have faith in yourself and each other.
