Generation X-mas

I was looking for some links that go over the basics of why what the masses believe about Christmas is just not the case. You know such inconveniences as historical fact, and pagan traditions that go back far beyond the murderer Constantine's political ambitions. Instead I decided to open my box of thoughts and wish you all the best.

To worship the rising sun in my view makes more sense than to worship the rising son. But in either case, it is the rising of spirit within that has the effect of transformation. There is no need to hold on to childish illusions when the truth is so much better.

Reflecting back on this year, my partner Amy and I have looked to the Tao to find real solutions. Does it help one we've loved and lost to physical death to be unhappy at the holidays? Would not simple logic tell you that joy would honor their memory more? Not to mention the fact that the physical loss regards only one small part of the relationship. Please don't let self-indulgence at your own wound keep you from the very thing you are missing.

Since my grandfather passed years ago, my relationship with him has only deepened. Influenced by the native american concept of "ancestors" (I was a shaman in a past life) and rooted in the teachings of India, I realize that form is small and being is all.

The path of communication is the key to unlocking the mystery of transmission. Hold your astral friend in the mind and allow love to flow from the heart. When you think of them, don't be sad because they are gone, be glad that you can experience a new and wonderful dimension in your relationship. Open everything and become immersed in the feeling. Send the vibes of love and love will be returned. What you imagine in your mind may well be the communication you seek, for that is the realm at the crossroads between our two worlds. Strong emotion, aching empathy, tingling up the spine, and shivers are all signs that you are tuning in.

If you are dealing with broken relationships or have no safe place to be yourself today, I say godspeed my friend. You will find a way if you truly have faith. It is the power of conviction which slowly shapes your environment. Be open to recieve and you will be given.

If we are a light unto the world every day, there will be no need for a specific noteworthy date different from any other. The gift of life is glorious every second. God has not left the world, but many have left God. Remember, the devil masquerades as God in the land of deception. Only the heart of the individual can confirm what is real. Truth is ever and always self-evident.

Are you happy? Do you feel at ease? Is there peace and contentment in your daily life? Are you fulfilling the mission that was the reason you came to Earth in the first place? Have you even considered these questions? People, as the Zen story says, "Your house is on fire!!!"

The present moment tunes you in to the creating spirit that is even now breathing you. Yes, this is the way home. You are alive and that alone is more than enough to be grateful for now. Aum.
