Rescue Yourself from Negative Emotion

Pretending to be hurt when underneath it all one understands the reasoning of another’s expression but plays out the little unpleasant scenario anyway, is something best left for bratty children in the schoolyard. Killing people with their eyes, words drop from the feeling-less afflicted with a lack of care reminiscent of idiot parents who lock their only child in a closet so they can have a moment of peace. Terrible is the unaccepted responsibility and heavy is its price.

Everything that has not found its proper external expression has moved inside the human psyche and formed an alternate existence. Since we usually look outside we do not see how this mass of charge undulates and plots its revenge on those who harmed it (and those who failed to allow it freedom – aka YOU). The implications for our interpersonal relationships are unquestionable.

While Johnny and Suzy (the perfect couple) put on a show of living the high life, they are seething with rage inside, yet also holding it as corked up as possible. Smiling at each other they say how much they love, yet at any moment the smallest incident might activate the secret world of emotional hell.

Johnny could drop a fork on the table and Suzy will want to choke him to death. This is because Suzy is bringing the painful past into play and blaming Johnny for what she did not have the courage to deal with directly in the past (father, boss, ex-lovers). Then Johnny might say, “Chill out, I just dropped a fork.” Suzy will use this as a means to escalate the situation and the spiral down will begin.

Later, Suzy might apologize and then want to express her feelings about the situation. Johnny feeling self-righteous will demand compensation – moral authority. Suzy wishes she could be close with Johnny and Johnny vice versa. Unfortunately, each is looking to the other instead of towards themselves for solutions. Only when personal growth is accelerated, will there be anything worthwhile to share.

Fear of speaking the truth rips the soul in two. Everything left unexpressed needs to be reclaimed. The approach to this scattered horror is trepidacious at best, but only those with the strength to hurl themselves straight into the nightmare will ever come out whole. This is the work of a Shaman: to guide you through the process. One can argue about the details, but they would again be shifting responsibility.

When Johnny feels fulfilled on his own, and Suzy is living her Heart’s Desire, both will have a relaxedness and easy way that will preemptively eliminate discord. Feeling enthralled with life, their passion for each other will increase. Sex will move deeper and instead of being just a passing mood fancy, they begin to probe each other’s bodies for the mysteries of the Universe. When this play crescendos to the climax of their heavenly dance, a cosmic orgasm will explode its vibrant energy. Harmony of body, mind, and soul makes the two one, opening the enchanted portal to God’s inexhaustible Love.
