Artifacts of Transformation

How
does art enter eternity? George Harrison said, “All Things Must Pass,” and this
is a true-ism that is impossible to deny. No manifested object can last as the
nature of the 3D realm is transitory and ephemeral. Through the gate of personal
transformation lies the lasting effect of inspiration and its legacy on human
development.
Production done as a glorification of the Ego or as a spillage of
unconscious torment does not qualify as divine art. It is part of the personal
working out of karma which can be done very well, and may be quite interesting
when taken as a reflection of a certain state of mind. Sometimes the impetus of
a tumultuous expression may even break the surface of illusion, and for a moment
bask in the brilliant life-giving sun before falling once again even deeper into
the shade.
It is the artifacts constructed as a soulful transmission of our Source
that can open the doorway to our higher selves and bring us a realm closer to
the original point of universal conception. The artist becomes as Osho might
say, the meeting of the Earth and the Sky; a conduit to bring the Holy Message
of Truth to the World. Even as the priest claims to be the representative of
God, artists, musicians, and writers are showing themselves to be His True
Spirit Warriors. The surface form is not nearly as important as the substance
behind it, and the standard of success is the resulting happiness one feels from
the process.
We remember Beethoven, a composer from the early 1800s, and still listen to
his works. He was able to reveal an aspect of the Astral Realms on a scale that
up to that point had not been realized (except perhaps in the East). What a
service to civilization! The tune for “Ode to Joy” resonates in the very
vibration of the Creative Cosmos. This is why the music lives on and returns to
us from the inside out.
Will it continue to move us in 1000 years? 10,000 years? Do we remember any
art from 10,000 years ago? The Pyramids, the Sphinx, and Stonehenge, are
examples of monuments that continue to inspire us in our search for who we are.
They awaken a remembrance of a more profound destiny. Unified in historical
context as an expression of Humanity on Earth, these landmarks reflect the
longing of the soul to reach back to the stars.
True importance lies not in a specific artifact itself, but in the
transformation it elicits in the individual exposed to it. Through inspiration
(intuition in action), the artist tunes into the higher vibratory rate of
another dimension of Existence and holds in mind a Vision. They must then
proceed to manifest in this 3D world something which inevitably will be but a
reflection of what they have witnessed in the 4D world.
In so doing, some of the wonder and magnificence of the original is lost as
is always the case when bringing the higher to the lower, but the goal is to try
to capture something of the mystical experience as a means of awakening that
very thing in the observer. When recognition is found in a receptive heart, the
participating person will be transported to the realm from which the artwork
derived and experience firsthand the phenomenon originally felt by the artist.
Through this process, the observer is forever changed. Having experienced
something which can never be un-experienced, they will for all time carry the
affect of the work to which they were exposed. In the soul of the transformed
individual, the legacy of art lives on long after fleeting moments of Time.
