Universal Recycling

All things that can be recycled should be and all things that can be created with recycled materials should be. Garbage dumps simply hide our refuse by moving it to another place on the blue-green sphere out of our sight. Each pile must be gone through to extract recyclables in a full scale comprehensive mission. It is one way we can atone for our abuse of the Earth.

Toxic waste can be shipped into outer space, or sent to the bottom of the sea in multi-layered titanium cylinders. Once it is removed, it must not be replaced.
In every place possible, massive reforestation plans should be implemented. Clear cut logging must be curbed and paper products should be made with hemp instead of trees. Multi-purpose hemp crops can replace tobacco for farmers currently bound to “Big Tobacco” for survival.

The newest pollution control technology need to be immediately instigated everywhere regardless of the cost. Emissions must be drastically cut as soon as possible. All dumping, spilling, and contamination must be ended absolutely and unresolved disasters cleaned up.

Oil will no longer be our fuel of choice as it is a danger to the land, the sea, and the air. We are not meant to burn our house in order to live in it. Oil is a transitory fuel for humanity. It was to be used in the transition from the industrial age to the information age and no longer. There are better ways, we know it, and it is time to take action.

Much of the world’s farm land and coastal water mass can be filled with wind machines. Efficient, standardized, mass produced solar panels will be placed on roofs across the globe to harness energy from our own star. Crystal experiments will begin in earnest.

As time goes on and old style homes collapse, they will be replaced with technology more suited to the natural environment. Ecological balance is restored by letting natural processes reassert themselves without interference. We can then begin the long process of reestablishing trust with the natural world.
